Description

Job Req Number: 127814
Time Type: Full Time

Build your Treasury career in a global business undergoing major transformation

Are you ready to take the next step in your Treasury career and work closer to business decisions, global finance teams and large-scale transformation?

At DSV, you will get the opportunity to move beyond traditional Treasury operations and develop into a strong business partner. You will gain exposure across our global organisation, work directly with finance leaders in different markets and take responsibility for decisions that influence funding, liquidity and internal capital allocation.

At the same time, you will join DSV during an exciting period of transformation and integration. This gives you a unique opportunity to develop your Treasury expertise while experiencing first-hand how finance supports change at scale.

Build experience that can take your career further

You will join Group Treasury at our headquarters in Hedehusene as part of the NWC & Middle Office team, working alongside four colleagues and your manager.

This is an opportunity for someone with a few years of experience within Treasury, Corporate Finance, Cash Management, Credit or a similar field who is ready for more responsibility and broader exposure.

You won't just work with Treasury processes. You will learn how funding decisions are made across an international organisation, build relationships with local CFOs and finance teams and turn financial analysis into recommendations that support real business decisions.

As you grow into the role, you will take increasing ownership of DSV's global Treasury limit framework and contribute to transformation, process improvement and system development across Group Treasury.

"We are looking for someone who is curious about the business behind the numbers and wants to develop through responsibility and international exposure. You will work with experienced Treasury colleagues while building relationships across our global finance organisation," says Line Ehlers, Director, Group Treasury.

From analysis to business decisions

A key part of your role will be partnering with finance teams across DSV to assess their funding requirements.

Rather than simply processing requests, you will understand the business need behind them, analyse the financial case and help determine the right solution.

You will gradually become a trusted Treasury Business Partner for stakeholders across countries and functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with local CFOs and finance teams to understand funding needs and translate them into clear financial recommendations
  • Managing Treasury limit requests from initial assessment through approval, implementation and follow-up
  • Preparing analyses and business cases that support decisions on Treasury limits and internal capital allocation
  • Supporting Treasury system developments and transformation initiatives
  • Contributing to broader Group Treasury, working capital and strategic finance projects

Bring your experience. Grow your scope

You have already built a solid foundation within finance and are now looking for a role where you can broaden your perspective and take on more responsibility.

We imagine that you have relevant professional experience within Treasury, Corporate Finance, Cash Management, Credit or another relevant finance function.

More importantly, you are motivated by understanding how financial decisions connect to the wider business.

You are likely to thrive in this role if you:

  • Enjoy combining financial analysis with stakeholder dialogue
  • Are comfortable working with data and turning your findings into clear recommendations
  • Are curious and willing to challenge assumptions and ask the right questions
  • Want to work across countries, functions and different levels of an organisation
  • Take initiative while also valuing sparring and collaboration with experienced colleagues
  • Communicate confidently in written and spoken English

You do not need to arrive knowing everything. What matters is that you bring a strong financial foundation, curiosity and the ambition to grow into a broader Treasury business partnering role.

Why DSV – and why now?

This is an opportunity to develop your career at the centre of a global organisation while Treasury and the wider business are evolving.

You will get:

  • Real responsibility: Work on financial decisions with tangible impact across DSV's global organisation
  • International exposure: Collaborate directly with finance teams and CFOs across countries and regions
  • A steep development curve: Expand from financial analysis into business partnering, governance and decision support
  • Transformation experience: Contribute to projects, processes and systems as DSV continues to transform and integrate its global organisation
  • Room to grow: Build experience across Treasury and a global finance organisation where careers can develop across functions and borders

Here, your development comes through exposure, responsibility and increasingly complex challenges.
