We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer with strong expertise in high-rise residential commercial and mixed-use building construction projects in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for project planning scheduling progress monitoring resource coordination delay analysis and reporting to ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality standards.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent knowledge of Primavera P6 project controls construction sequencing and UAE construction practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare detailed baseline project schedules using Primavera P6
- Develop master schedules look-ahead schedules recovery plans and target programs
- Monitor construction progress against approved schedules
- Prepare and update weekly/monthly progress reports
- Identify critical activities and project risks
Project Monitoring & Controls
- Track project performance productivity and manpower utilization
- Conduct delay analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor procurement engineering and construction activities
- Coordinate with project managers site engineers consultants and subcontractors
- Ensure alignment between project execution and planned timelines
Coordination & Reporting
- Participate in progress review meetings with clients and consultants
- Prepare dashboards S-curves histograms and KPI reports
- Assist in claims preparation and extension of time (EOT) documentation
- Coordinate with QA/QC procurement MEP and execution teams
Technical & Construction Coordination
- Understand construction sequencing for:
- Excavation & shoring
- Raft foundations
- Concrete frame structures
- Structural works
- MEP coordination
- Façade works
- Finishing & fit-out activities
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards and project milestones
RequirementsExperience
- Minimum 510 years experience in construction planning
- Mandatory experience in high-rise building projects in UAE
- Experience with main contractors preferred
