Senior Java/Python AI Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Java/Python AI Engineer to join our team.

We are building an AI-driven automation platform that streamlines financial advisor workflows through secure, integrated chat experiences and strong compliance controls. In this role, you will design agentic AI components and integrate them with existing banking systems while enforcing governance and auditability. Apply to help deliver reliable AI automation!

Responsibilities

• Design AI-powered chat interface components tailored to financial advisor workflows
• Build and maintain agentic AI modules for complex, autonomous interaction scenarios
• Integrate AI capabilities with existing banking platforms to ensure reliable end-to-end data flow
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to control user access within the solution
• Enforce auditing, monitoring, and governance controls to meet security and compliance expectations
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into compliant technical designs
• Participate in regular project meetings to communicate progress, challenges, and decisions
• Research and apply emerging AI methods to improve solution effectiveness and robustness
• Manage tasks autonomously while adjusting priorities as project needs evolve

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in AI solution engineering or related roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Java development in production environments
• Strong experience designing agentic AI systems and autonomous agents
• Leadership skills to drive technical decisions and work independently on assigned tasks
• Project collaboration skills for working in a small agile team and aligning with stakeholders
• Security and governance knowledge covering authentication, authorization, traceability, and auditability
• Banking systems integration experience, including MCP (Managed Client Platform) connectivity and data flow
• Strong communication skills for sharing progress, risks, and technical trade-offs
• Strong problem-solving skills to adapt to evolving requirements and startup-phase dynamics
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
