About the Role
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to the success of our operations. You will work closely with other members of the warehouse team to ensure that all materials are handled safely and efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and products
- Store materials and products in designated locations within the warehouse
- Pick and pack materials and products for shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using computerized inventory management systems
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
