Manager of Client Services
Posted Updated
Description
- Kargo is hiring a Client Services Manager to own the day-to-day execution and client experience across a shared book of direct and programmatic accounts
- This role is the connective tissue between clients and Kargo’s internal teams—ensuring campaigns launch correctly, perform to goal, and create the conditions for retention and growth
- Guide assigned accounts through the full campaign lifecycle—kickoff through delivery—ensuring campaigns execute on time and on spec without delays, missing assets, or escalations
- Build warm, responsive, trust-based client relationships so clients view Kargo as a reliable partner, not a vendor to manage
- Deliver performance reports on schedule with clear takeaways that help clients understand what’s working and what to do next
- Catch discrepancies in assets, tags, and reporting before they become client issues, and track open items across multiple accounts without dropping threads
- Proactively identify and flag upsell and renewal opportunities, handing them to sales or senior CS with enough lead time to act
- Route demand-side needs, revenue blockers, and client feedback to the right internal teams quickly and clearly, keeping campaigns on track
- Collaborate with sales, operations, creative, and senior CS team members—sharing context freely and following through on shared commitments
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for reporting, analysis, and data organization
- Familiarity with digital media metrics and industry terminology
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach—identifying issues early, asking the right questions to unblock yourself, and managing competing priorities without losing clarity on what needs to happen next
- 3+ years of experience in digital media, ad tech, or a client-facing role in agency planning, buying, or ad operations
- Preferred: experience working across cross-functional teams (sales, operations, creative) and exposure to campaign troubleshooting in direct or programmatic environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build and deliver clear client-facing presentations
- Working knowledge of direct and programmatic campaign mechanics, including trafficking, tagging, and asset collection
