Lead Application AI Engineer

We're on the lookout for a Lead Application AI Engineer to join our team, helping build innovative tooling that empowers legal organizations to modernize how they operate. In this capacity, you'll construct dependable integrations, apply a Configuration as Code mindset, and roll out smart AI agents across the customer's platform landscape, with special emphasis on Jira Service Management (JSM) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) scenarios

Responsibilities

• Construct, configure, and embed AI agents within customer workflows to drive automation and simplify legal operational processes
• Architect, set up, and fine-tune Jira Service Management (JSM) solutions designed around the needs of complex legal organizations
• Apply Configuration as Code methodologies and establish automated deployment pipelines that enable consistent, repeatable release cycles
• Bring domain expertise or genuine enthusiasm for Legal and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) workflows to produce tooling that generates tangible business value

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant hands-on professional background
• A minimum of one year spent leading and managing development teams
• Substantial background constructing, configuring, and embedding AI agents into operational business workflows
• Advanced proficiency in Jira Service Management (JSM), covering both solution architecture and configuration
• Solid grounding in Configuration as Code practices and constructing CI/CD deployment pipelines
• Hands-on background in Generative AI application development, including Gen AI-assisted engineering methods
• Capable in prompt engineering, crafting and refining effective interactions with AI models
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher

• Background within Legal Tech, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), or wider legal operations functions
