Junior Software Developer
Description
Internship: Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Empower Your Career with a Leading Software Company
About the position
The position is located at our office in Bucharest, where you’ll join Systematic’s Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. As an intern, you’ll become part of a team responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of applications used across the organisation. Working at the intersection of software development and IT operations, you’ll get hands-on experience with DevOps practices and modern technologies that help build and maintain robust software solutions.
You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to automation, deployment processes, monitoring, and infrastructure-related tasks. Throughout your internship, you’ll have the opportunity to explore different technologies, develop your technical skills, and learn how software systems are operated and maintained in real-world environments.
Your Daily Impact as an Intern
At Systematic, interns are treated like full team members from day one. You’ll get an introduction to the SRE domain, the tools we use, and the projects you’ll be involved in. With the support of your team and a dedicated mentor, you’ll gradually take ownership of specific tasks, contribute to improving existing processes, and gain practical experience in areas such as automation, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and system monitoring.
We care about your professional and personal development and will do our best to align your personal goals, study requirements, and our business priorities — making sure your internship is both a learning experience and a great time.
