Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Brand based in Switzerland.

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Brand to establish a distinctive identity in the rapidly emerging AI employee category. You will own the complete brand vision, from visual identity and messaging to creative direction and high-impact campaigns. Your mission will be to make the product recognizable, compelling, and meaningfully differentiated from much larger competitors. You will shape a narrative that presents AI as a capable, approachable colleague while building the team and creative capabilities needed to bring that vision to life. Working closely with the CMO, you will have significant ownership and the freedom to make decisions, experiment, and move quickly. This is an opportunity to build a category-defining brand within a fast-growing technology environment.

Accountabilities

You will lead the development and execution of the brand strategy, combining creative leadership with direct involvement in delivering high-quality work. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own and evolve the complete brand system, including visual identity, brand voice, positioning, messaging, and creative standards.

  • Develop a compelling brand narrative that communicates the product's human, capable, and collaborative nature.

  • Plan and execute high-impact brand campaigns that generate awareness, attract attention, and strengthen market positioning.

  • Differentiate the brand from major technology competitors and establish a distinctive presence in a crowded, rapidly evolving category.

  • Lead the rollout of the new brand identity across the website, product experience, sales materials, and other customer touchpoints.

  • Establish clear brand guidelines covering tone of voice, visual standards, and creative quality, ensuring consistent adoption across the organization.

  • Build and lead an effective in-house creative team while determining which capabilities and projects should remain agency-supported.

  • Maintain a high creative standard while remaining directly involved in producing and reviewing brand work.

  • Monitor campaign impact and brand performance, using feedback and results to refine creative direction and future initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with leadership and other teams to ensure brand activities support broader growth objectives.

  • Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced brand leader who combines strategic thinking, strong creative judgment, and a willingness to execute. You should be comfortable building in an early-stage environment where priorities evolve, decisions happen quickly, and results matter more than formal processes.

    • Demonstrated experience taking a brand from an early stage through a period of growth, with tangible examples of the brand systems and initiatives you have built.

    • Proven track record of developing and executing campaigns that generate attention in competitive markets.

    • Experience positioning a brand against significantly larger competitors.

    • Ability to define creative direction and maintain high standards while remaining hands-on in the work.

    • Experience building and leading creative teams, including establishing an effective balance between in-house capabilities and external agencies.

    • Strong understanding of brand identity, storytelling, messaging, visual communication, and campaign development.

    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and defend creative decisions constructively.

    • High level of autonomy, initiative, adaptability, and comfort operating in a fast-changing environment.

    • Ability to work effectively in a small, high-trust team with minimal bureaucracy and a strong bias toward execution.

    • Additional experience that would be an advantage:

      • Background working with challenger brands, particularly in B2C markets.

      • Strong capabilities in video production, motion design, and dynamic creative formats.

      • Experience in technology, AI, or emerging product categories.

      • Benefits

        • Competitive compensation: Top-of-market salary, with compensation reviewed in line with the role's seniority and scope.

        • Ownership: Significant responsibility and the opportunity to shape a core part of the business.

        • Remote flexibility: Remote work available across Europe or within US Eastern time.

        • Team collaboration: Opportunities to work alongside colleagues in Munich, New York, Dublin, and Warsaw.

        • Travel opportunities: Some travel to Warsaw is expected.

        • High-impact environment: Direct ownership, fast decision-making, and the opportunity to help establish a new market category.

        • Creative autonomy: Freedom to build the brand strategy, team, and operating model with limited bureaucracy.
