Global Investment Banking - Healthcare - VP/Associate - SH/HK

Posting Description:

As a senior associate or a Vice President in GIB Healthcare team, you’ll have experience developing strong relationships with corporates and institution clients and working across different products. You’ll work on deals and transaction across the spectrum of our banking products, including mergers & acquisitions, equity capital and debt capital raises, divestitures, restructurings, loans, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working with senior bankers in originating, structuring and executing financing and advisory transactions across various products including M&As, IPOs, bonds, loans and structured products
• Developing content in marketing/execution materials for maximum client impact
• Creating financial models and detailed valuation analysis for pitches / projects
• Guiding, reviewing and coordinating the analytic work of junior bankers to move marketing / execution process forward
• Liaising with internal and external parties on transactions (e.g. lawyers, accountants, counterparties)
• Leading client negotiations, Q&A process, due diligence and management interviews

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics or a related field from a top tier educational institution
• Minimum 6 years of work experience in investment banking with past deal execution experience in healthcare related industry
• SAC certificate required (for China) or other regulator required certificate
• Ability to manage multiple projects with excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities
• Understands transaction cycle and the steps in the process and is execution oriented
• Impeccable communication details with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other lines of business
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients
