Enterprise Account Manager (Strategic Renewals)
Posted Updated
Description
- You will own a book of enterprise accounts and one number: retained revenue. You decide which accounts need you most this week, and you go there. This is a commercial role. You will spend your time with executives, not running support tickets
- Own renewals across your book, from strategic accounts to smaller ones, and protect every dollar of recurring revenue
- Build relationships with the executives who decide: CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and heads of Salesforce platforms. Reach past your champion when the account needs it
- Turn red accounts green. Spot risk early, build a save plan, and run it with urgency
- Move customers from our Salesforce-native products to our cloud-native platform, and make the business case for why it matters to them
- Defend your accounts against competitors, in-house builds, and new enterprise architectures
- Pull the right people in. Hold product, support, engineering, and customer success accountable for what your customers need
- Find expansion opportunities and hand them to our sales team with a clear plan
- Run your book with discipline: accurate forecasts, clean renewal pipeline in Salesforce, no surprises
- You will work with customers at the moment they move to the cloud. Few account managers get to shape a transition this large
- Our products sit in the path of AI adoption. Every company deploying AI agents on Salesforce needs to test, release, and protect them safely
- You will have real ownership, direct access to leadership, and the room to build how account management works here
- 7+ years in enterprise account management, renewals, or customer-facing sales at a B2B software company
- You know how NRR and GRR are calculated and how your work moves them
- Experience in the Salesforce ecosystem is a strong plus
- A track record of saving at-risk renewals by going to the executive level, with the numbers to prove it
- Commercial intensity. You negotiate well, you push for multi-year terms, and you are comfortable with hard conversations about price and value
- You have sold or renewed complex IT solutions: DevOps, data protection, security, infrastructure, or developer platforms. Technical buyers trust you
- Clear, concise writing and speaking. You can brief a CIO in five minutes
- You have carried a significant book of business (ideally $5M+ in annual recurring revenue) with individual accounts above $250K
