Overview

Volt is hiring a remote

Distribution Designer (Natural Gas) .
Responsibilities

Design and plan natural gas pipeline systems.
Create and update base drawings, piping plans, and bills of materials.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Coordinate with teams in surveying, right-of-way, environmental, and engineering disciplines.
Analyze engineering data and customer requirements to develop efficient layouts.
Prepare construction prints and permit drawings.
Support field crews with technical documentation and design clarification.
Qualifications

An associate’s degree in drafting or CAD.
Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD.
Demonstrated experience with drafting natural gas pipelines.
Pay

Pay Range:

$28 - $43 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
