Description
- Oversees daily Stewarding operations, ensuring impeccable standards of cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene, and kitchen readiness.
- Leads and develops the Stewarding team, ensuring adherence to luxury service, health and safety, and hotel standards.
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation through regular inspections and meticulous quality controls
- Oversee the inventory, storage, care, and presentation of china, glassware, cutlery, and operating supplies and equipment
- Conduct regular inventories, monitor breakage trends, and implement effective cost-control and loss-prevention measures
- Manage the Stewarding Department’s budget, payroll, operating expenses, and overall financial performance.
- Champion responsible waste-management practices and sustainability initiatives in alignment with the property’s environmental commitments.
- Maintain flexible availability to support operational requirements and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field, with experience in luxury hotel operations preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Stewarding leadership experience, including managing large teams and driving operational excellence.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to maintain high service and quality standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, food safety, HACCP, and stewarding operations, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and budget management.
