This position will play a key critical role in building, maintaining, and optimizing the underlying infrastructure to support Enterprise Information Technology (IT) workloads.

You will join a diverse team of engineers to design, deploy, maintain, and secure platform infrastructure. You will collaborate with people inside and outside the organization to deliver the highest standards for building, deploying, and securing infrastructure.

Key Job Responsibilities

DevOps Storage Engineers demonstrate the ability to build, maintain, and troubleshoot complex storage infrastructures to maintain a secure, performant, and available solution.

· Knowledge of Linux distributions, including user management, security hardening, and system troubleshooting

· Understanding of iSCSI, Fibre Channel, Fibre Channel over Ethernet, NFS, SMB/CIFS, NVMe/TCP, NVMe/RoCE for efficient and performant data transfer

· Experience with ext4, XFS, Btrfs - knowing when to use each based on performance needs

· Knowledge of RAID levels and disk management techniques for redundancy and performance

· Proven ability to deploy, configure, and manage storage area networks and network-attached storage solutions

· Hands-on experience with major vendors like Dell EMC, NetApp, or HPE Nimble - including firmware updates and troubleshooting

· Experience setting up synchronous/asynchronous data replication for disaster recovery

· Knowledge using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix to track performance metrics and identify bottlenecks

· Intermediate scripting experience for automating routine tasks and creating custom monitoring solutions

· Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to manage storage infrastructure as code

Required Qualifications

· Proven experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise SAN, NAS, and unified storage platforms (e.g., NetApp, Dell PowerStore/PowerMax, Pure Storage), with deep knowledge of block and file protocols including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, and SMB/CIFS.

· Proficiency in automating storage provisioning, lifecycle tasks, and configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible, backed by scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

· Strong hands-on experience integrating persistent volumes with container platforms, specifically leveraging Kubernetes Container Storage Interface (CSI) drivers, storage classes, and dynamic volume provisioning.

· In-depth Linux systems administration skills (Red Hat/CentOS, Ubuntu), including multipath I/O configuration (DM-Multipath), volume managers (LVM), filesystem tuning (ext4, XFS, ZFS), and performance troubleshooting (I/O latency, IOPS, throughput).

· Active TS/SCI and the ability to maintain access as required by the program

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience designing and managing S3-compatible cloud and software-defined object storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3/EBS/EFS, MinIO, Ceph) across hybrid or multi-cloud enterprise footprints.

· Hands-on experience embedding automated storage tests and provisioning workflows into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and managing storage declarations via GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD).

· Familiarity with telemetry and observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) to track storage metrics, monitor SLA thresholds, and build automated forecasting models for capacity planning.

· Industry certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, vendor storage credentials (e.g., NetApp NCDA,

Pure Certified Architect), or an advanced cloud provider specialty (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect).

We offer

· A dynamic and collaborative working environment that fosters professional growth and development.
