Description

About BI Connector BI Connector, by Guidanz Inc., connects Oracle Fusion data (ERP, HCM, SCM and CX) to the tools data teams already use, including Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, Snowflake and Databricks.

The role

  • Are you an Oracle Fusion data expert who loves the spotlight, enjoys teaching on camera, and wants to be known as the go-to voice for getting Fusion data into the modern data and AI stack?
  • You will be the public face of BI Connector: an Oracle Fusion subject matter expert who speaks the language of data engineers and BI developers, and shows them how to get to Fusion ERP, SCM and HCM data efficiently. Your main channel is YouTube, through tutorials, product demos and point-of-view videos that help data teams solve real problems.

What's in it for you

  • Your name and face, globally. You become a recognised voice for Oracle Fusion data, in front of enterprise data and BI teams in the US, UK, Middle East and India.
  • A real say in the product. What you hear from viewers and customers shapes the BI Connector roadmap. You work directly with the core team members.
  • Freedom to have opinions. We want your point of view on data architecture, not scripted marketing.
  • Ownership. You build the channel from the ground up and own its strategy, standards and results.
  • A career-defining niche. Few people combine Oracle Fusion, BI and data engineering on camera. This role makes you one of them.

Who you will be speaking to

  • Data engineering teams building pipelines and incremental loads into Fabric, Snowflake and Databricks.
  • BI and reporting teams building Power BI and Tableau models and dashboards for Finance, HR and Supply Chain users.
  • Both audiences work on non-Oracle stacks. Your job is to speak their language first, then translate Fusion data into it.

What you will do

  • Plan, script, present and record one long-form YouTube tutorial or demo per week, and turn each one into Shorts, LinkedIn clips, a blog post and, where useful, a starter kit.
  • Build and maintain demo environments across Oracle Fusion and destination tools.
  • Own titles, descriptions, chapters and playlists, and work with a freelance editor and designer on final quality.
  • Co-present thought leadership videos with our CEO.
  • Write blog posts, quick-start guides and starter kits such as Power BI templates and Fabric pipeline starters.
  • Answer Oracle Fusion data questions in the Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Reddit, Stack Overflow and Oracle communities, and speak at user groups and events.
  • Test new features early and turn what you hear from users into product input.
  • Join selected technical customer conversations as the trusted expert.

How your time is split

About half your time goes to YouTube and video, 30% to community and other content, 10% to product feedback and 10% to customer conversations.

What you bring

  • Oracle Fusion background: hands-on experience with Fusion ERP, SCM or HCM data, including OTBI subject areas, BI Publisher, BICC extracts and Fusion security roles.
  • Modern data stack fluency: pipelines and incremental loads on at least one of Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or Databricks, with strong SQL.
  • BI fluency: Power BI semantic models, Power Query, refresh and gateways, and dashboards business users act on. Tableau is a plus.
  • Translation skill: you explain Fusion concepts in the audience's terms, not in Oracle jargon.
  • On-camera teaching: clear spoken English, calm pacing, and you explain the why, not just the clicks.
  • Shipping discipline: a track record of publishing on a schedule (a channel, course or webinar series).
  • You might be a great fit if you are an Oracle Fusion technical or reporting consultant who has moved into Power BI, Fabric or data engineering, or an Oracle Analytics or OBIEE developer now building on Power BI, Snowflake or Databricks.

Nice to have

  • Your own YouTube channel or Udemy course on Power BI, SQL or Oracle.
  • Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft MVP, Databricks Certification, or Oracle ACE.
  • Basic video editing (Camtasia, Descript, Premiere or DaVinci Resolve).
  • YouTube SEO and analytics experience.
  • Developer relations, developer advocacy or technical training experience (helpful, not required).

Hiring process

  • Portfolio review (existing videos, courses or talks).
  • Paid assignment: a short tutorial video that explains one Oracle Fusion concept for a data engineer or BI developer.
  • Technical interview
  • Live demo with the team.

Compensation Competitive base salary plus a performance bonus.
