Commercial Manager - 1

Hill International is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction and consultancy services with a proven ability to manage commercial aspects of largescale development projects effectively

• Lead the commercial management of projects ensuring compliance with contracts and financial objectives.

• Oversee cost control procurement contract administration and risk management.

• Manage claims variations and dispute resolution in collaboration with legal and project teams.

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize project profitability.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients subcontractors and suppliers.

• Ensure adherence to local regulations and industry standards.

• Provide commercial reports forecasts and financial assessments to senior management.

• Support project teams in achieving budgetary and contractual targets.

Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial management within construction and consultancy sectors.

• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and local regulations in the UAE.

• Proven track record in cost control contract management and dispute resolution.

• Excellent negotiation leadership and communication skills.

• Professional certification (e.g. MRICS CIOB is a plus.
