Civil Engineer

Our client is a leading building construction and contracting company in Dubai is looking for a Civil Engineer to join their team working on a mix of residential and industrial projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will be technically strong site-focused and capable of coordinating with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities for residential and industrial building projects.
• Review drawings specifications and method statements and ensure works are executed as per approved plans and standards.
• Coordinate with consultants clients subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project progress.
• Prepare and update work schedules progress reports and site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality health safety and environmental requirements at site.
• Assist in quantity take-off material requisitions and verification of subcontractor works.
• Participate in inspections snagging and handover of completed works.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in building construction preferably in the UAE.
• Hands-on experience in residential and/or industrial projects (warehouses factories etc.).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods finishes and structural works.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and building codes in Dubai is an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Office; knowledge of planning software is a plus.
• Strong communication coordination and problem-solving skills.
