Buyer Executive (O&G)

Position Title: Buyer

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: RM3,500 – RM6,000

Job Summary

We are seeking a Buyer to support procurement activities for Oil & Gas project environments. The role involves managing sourcing, supplier coordination, and purchasing processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and evaluate supplier proposals

• Source and engage with local and international vendors

• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and commercial conditions

• Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and monitor order progress

• Expedite deliveries to meet project timelines

• Ensure compliance with project specifications and procurement procedures

• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (engineering, project teams)

• Maintain supplier performance and documentation records

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field

• Fresh graduates with relevant internship OR 1–5 years procurement experience

• Exposure to Oil & Gas / EPC / engineering environment is an advantage

• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills

• Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems is a plus

• Able to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
