Description
- Our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) identify and evaluate growing, small to mid-sized ecommerce brands, exploring tech-driven supply chain solutions using the full suite of ShipBob’s services. A BDR’s main goal is to set qualified meetings with our Account Executives and achieve a monthly quota by meeting or exceeding expected metrics for outbound outreach and demos set and converted
- The BDR role is a great fit for candidates looking to develop their skills and grow within their sales career. You’ll start your first month at ShipBob with a comprehensive onboarding program designed to set you up for success. You’ll learn the ins and outs of the role through industry, product, and sales training, practicing your skills, and shadowing experienced BDRs. Along the way, you’ll get hands-on experience with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, and 6sense, and build skills in data analysis for sales insights, prospecting strategies, negotiation, and consultative selling. Together, these will give you a strong foundation for long-term success in sales
- Start as a BDR and unlock opportunities to grow your career across the organization, with promotion eligibility beginning at 9–18 months. This role will report to a Manager, Business Development
